I thought I was strong. I thought I could hold out.
I thought I could resist one more digital distraction.
But no. Earlier this week our department decided that our efforts on Facebook and Twitter were reaching alumni, but not current and prospective students. So we started an Instagram account.
And so I crumbled, and started one of my own.
(To make myself feel better, I’m officially abandoning even the slightest pretense of paying attention to my account at Chronicle Vitae.)
I don’t know much about Instagram. I’m just feeling my way with a handful of posts.
But I do like the idea I came up with this morning: I went to Bethel’s library with my iPhone, found some collections of books relevant to work and home, and started sharing #mylifeindeweydecimal.
And…
So if that seems like the kind of thing that’s been missing from your life, do yourself a favor and follow me on Instagram.
